Budget Q&A - TPCP

Q: How is Wisconsin's Tobacco Prevention and Control Program (TPCP) funded in this budget?

A: From General Purpose Revenue (GPR), the big pot of money that most programs are funded from. The TPCP is not funded by earmarked money.

    When are they going to vote on SB 150 again? I haven't heard any progress for awhile. Thanks.

    Currently there is no vote scheduled on SB 150. Procedurally, the first place a vote needs to take place is the Senate Public Health Committee.

    If you live in one of the committee members' districts, let him know you'd like to see this bill get its fair shot!
