Tobacco-Free Families Update

On August 18, 2009 Reps. Reps. Smith, Pasch, Benedict, Richards, Black, Hebl, Hixson, Hilgenberg, Berceau, Parisi, Mason, Soletski, Turner, Young, Roys, Shilling, Pope-Roberts, Clark, Sinicki, Zigmunt, Townsend and Spanbauer, along with their colleagues in the Senate: Sens. Risser, Robson and Lehman introduced the Tobacco Free Families Bill.(For more back ground on the bill see our website)

AB 381 was referred to the Joint Committee on Finance (JFC).

A hearing is not required for a bill referred to JFC.

In order to move towards passage, the Tobacco-Free Families Bill must clear an Executive Session of the JFC.
